Frequently Asked Questions

Here is an ever-evolving database of questions and answers related to "On the Move" and the building construction.

Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe just how far God has brought Crosspointe Church; from a small group of seventy individuals in early 2007 to a church where nearly one thousand people worship together every weekend.  Go God!

While Crosspointe is thriving, what's happening here is not normal. The reality is that 80% of all churches in the U.S. have plateaued or are declining.  Half of all churches in the U.S. didn't add one new member by conversion in the last year. And if all of that doesn't break your heart, this probably will...4,000 churches in the U.S. this year will sing their final song, say their final prayer, and close their doors for one final time.

Each week at Crosspointe, people are finding and following Jesus. Marriages are being restored.  People with hurts, habits, and hang-ups are finding HOPE in Jesus.  Many are saying “Yes” to Jesus in worship services. Children are learning to seek Jesus and His Word.  Teenagers are moving from the world’s way to God’s way through the choices they are making.  Hundreds are taking spiritual steps to grow closer to Jesus.

With all of that said, I’m convinced God isn’t finished yet.  He is the author and He is writing an incredible story at Crosspointe.  We are at the very beginning of what God wants to do in us and through us, and we eagerly seek to take the next step that we believe God has for Crosspointe Church.

This fall, we are embarking on a new development initiative we are calling On the Move.  We will be raising the necessary resources to renovate a nearly 50,000 sq. ft. industrial building into a new 800+ seat worship center, state of the art children’s facility, and a larger space for our Jr. High and High School students, Celebrate Recovery, and Re-Engage.

“For in HIM, we LIVE and MOVE and EXIST.”  Acts 17:28

I believe that when we submit ourselves to the power of God that lives within us, we get to live life to the fullest, see Jesus move through us, and we find a reason and purpose for existence.

What we are about to embark on is more than just bricks and mortar.  This building is a vehicle to connect more people with the life-changing Gospel of Christ and lead them to find and follow Jesus.

I ask you to consider your part in the On the Move initiative.  Pray and seek God’s face.  Listen for his wisdom. And then I hope you’ll join us on this God-inspired faith journey.  Imagine what God can accomplish with all of us working together for His global glory.

Souled Out,
Pastor Brian Moore
